About Susan Blackwood
I love to paint and draw. I have been a professional artist and art instructor since the early 1970's. For 32 years, I was a professional watercolorist. In the late 1970s, throughout the 1980's I sold limited edition prints of my watercolor paintings nationally and internationally, (first as Susan Zabinski and later as Susan Blackwood). In 2003, I added another medium to her professional work. I ventured forth into the thick and gooey medium of oils and love it, too. My watercolors and oils have been in many national shows and museums, winning top awards and featured in articles and on covers of several national art magazines.
